Burlington Northern GP38-2B 2601 is the second unit in a light power move on the South Bay Historical Railroad Society’s HO scale layout in Santa Clara, California on April 23, 2014.  BN 2601 started out as a Proto 2000 model that Dan kitbashed into BN’s lone GP38-2B using the short hood from an Atlas GP7 and numerous aftermarket and scratchbuilt parts.  The model is powered and is equipped with a LokPilot DCC (non-sound) decoder and features improved LED headlights.  Many thanks to the SBHRS for letting us have the use of their layout for a day to film our trains.  Daniel Cortopassi photo.
